All three compositions of this release are united by a common theme - these are sombre impenetrable swamps, enveloped in thick fogs,
lying among the dense deserted forests.
The opening composition - "Ode to the bogland" - is sustained in gloomy and epic tones and takes us to endless expanses of bottomless bogs, covered with a shaky carpet of moss, where twisted painful trees stretch out fragile broken branches of hands to you.
Be careful, traveler, you are not welcome here!
In the thickening twilight, you suddenly notice a multitude of wandering light -they seem to be calling you, now approaching, now moving away, beckoning to them. The restless souls of those who perished in the quagmire are calling you to them - "Friars's Lantern" tells us about it.
Here, in the sticky cold embrace of the bog, your path is over and the inhabitants of the dark swamp waters celebrate your perdition.
Damp and therefore unadjustable instruments, dissonances and contradictions -
all this is woven into a gloomy and assertive "Swamp Sarabande".
